Overview

Cosmic Cards is my original divination system that blends the structure of astrology with the symbolism of the tarot, allowing clients to receive messages from their birth chart or transits that are uniquely theirs. i also use this system to translate the energy of the cosmos in the sky at any given moment.

each card corresponds to a specific planet, zodiac sign, house, or astrological aspect, allowing me to craft spreads based directly on your natal chart and/or current transits.

the result is a layered, intuitive message that bridges your lived experience with the sky’s unfolding story.

Hermetic Lineage

this system is inspired by the esoteric tradition of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, formed in 1888. this was a mystical and magical society that created the foundational correspondences between astrology, tarot, and the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.

the Golden Dawn assigned each major arcana card to a planet or zodiac sign, and aligned the minor arcana with the 36 decans of the zodiac wheel. these symbolic systems remain core to much of modern occult tarot practice.

special recognition belongs to William Wynn Westcott, one of the Order’s founders and a key figure in preserving this lineage. his magic and scholarship forms the historical roots of this work, and i consider my approach to be a living continuation of that legacy.

as a personal aside, my last name is also Westcott. while I can’t yet confirm a direct ancestral link to William Wynn Westcott, the connection has always felt more than coincidental. his dedication to preserving symbolic wisdom across systems echoes something that feels deeply embedded in my own path. i see Cosmic Cards as part of continuing that spiritual lineage with reverence, evolution, and intuition at the core.

Influence of Aleister Crowley

i also honor the contributions of Aleister Crowley, whose Thoth Tarot built upon Golden Dawn traditions with further complexity and intention.

Crowley’s assignment of court cards to decans deeply informs how I represent the angles in a birth chart through Cosmic Cards.
